Threes Donate to Cornelius Animal Shelter
Our 3s learned about caring for our four-legged-friends during Pet Week. We each donated something to the Cornelius Animal Shelter to help take care of God’s creatures. We collected quite a haul as you can see.

Safety Week Arrives at Meadowlake!
We learned so much during our Safety Week! On Tuesday we had some very special visitors from the Huntersville Fire Department and Police Department. First, the fireman brought all of his special gear and dressed in front of us in his complete fireman’s gear. It was great to see that there was just a “daddy” [...]

Goodies for Grandparents
We were very excited to have so many grandparents visit us for our first “Goodies for Grandparents” Day. We had lemonade and cookies and presented them with a bookmark with their grandchildren’s picture and handprint on them. Then they toured their classroom and met their teachers. We had such a great time meeting our extended [...]

Dr. Seuss Was on the Loose
Dr. Seuss and all his zany characters visited Meadowlake Preschool Camp! There was Thing One and Thing Two, Ten Apples on Top, Sam I Am, Red Fish Blue Fish, The Feet in the Foot Book and Cat in the Hat (who looked a lot like Pastor Fred!) In literacy we read a new Dr. Seuss [...]

It’s A Small World Camp
We traveled the world in only 5 days at our It’s A Small World Camp. We visited South Africa, China, Hawaii, Spain and Italy. We started off each day by watching “A Day in A Life” of a child in each country. Then we went to customs and learned what was special about each country [...]

The Many Colors of Eric Carle
We had a great time exploring the World of Eric Carle! We started off the week by learning about the life cycle of caterpillars, went on a scavenger hunt for wild animals and more.

Meadowlake 2011 Graduation
Congratulations to our 2011 Meadowlake Preschool graduates! (and the graduating Class of 2024) This was an absolutely fabulous class. We had such a great time watching them learn and grow into wonderful big boys and girls.
Our Mission
The mission of Meadowlake Preschool is to provide a developmentally appropriate preschool education that nurtures the whole child-spiritually, socially, emotionally, physically and intellectually-in an atmosphere of Christian love and acceptance.
At Meadowlake, we recognize that a child's growth and development is a process, not an event. We encourage our students to be curious and creative and to make choices in the classroom. Children are free to make mistakes as they try out new skills and behaviors in a secure and loving environment.
