- And come on Sunday to hear exciting news about how a “simple and short intervention” can make a major and long term difference in our wellness…
- In the meantime – keep walking, exercising, praying, meditating, reading Scripture, not just alone but together, the God-given way to wellness of mind, body, and spirit!
Take Nothing – Receive Everything
Luke 9:1-6
As you read and pray about the Scripture for this week, discuss it with someone else, and answer these questions:
- What specific words seem to be speaking to you, and why do those words “stand out” for you?
- Our Scripture is the focus for Week Two of our Walk to Jerusalem. It comes from Jesus sending his disciples out to tell the Good News and heal diseases of mind, body, and spirit. Jesus reveals that the secret to be able to do this for ourselves and others, is to put aside all the “stuff” (material and otherwise) that holds us back from doing what God wants for us – and to trust in God. What do you need to put aside to be able to “walk the walk” God wants for your life?
