Our 3s learned about caring for our four-legged-friends during Pet Week. Our Bible verse was Genesis 1:25 “God made the animals” and our centers reflected this. Our favorite was pretending to be a veterinarian to our stuffed animals and taking care of them. Some of us even brought our pets to school! We each donated something to the Cornelius Animal Shelter to help take care of God’s creatures. We collected quite a haul as you can see. The shelter was very excited to see all that we brought! This is our second year donating to the shelter and we plan on continuing this for many years to come.

Our Mission
The mission of Meadowlake Preschool is to provide a developmentally appropriate preschool education that nurtures the whole child-spiritually, socially, emotionally, physically and intellectually-in an atmosphere of Christian love and acceptance.
At Meadowlake, we recognize that a child's growth and development is a process, not an event. We encourage our students to be curious and creative and to make choices in the classroom. Children are free to make mistakes as they try out new skills and behaviors in a secure and loving environment.
